Our Background
IJAR is the Jewish student association of the Netherlands. Founded in December 17, 1976, it is the oldest association for Jewish youth in the Netherlands. The goal of IJAR is to bring Jewish young people together. IJAR, known abroad as the Dutch Union of Jewish Students (DUJS), is part of the European Union of Jewish Students (EUJS) with the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) as its umbrella organization. In addition to domestic activities, IJAR also focuses on strengthening contacts between Dutch and foreign young people.
This website is intended to inform you of the activities that IJAR organizes. Photos of activities will be posted here and on the IJAR website. Furthermore, this page is open for discussion with members/interested parties. After all, IJAR is there for you. Feel free to post any questions, ideas, or proposals. It is also possible to email.
